A fake commercial poster for a fast food chain offering a large greasy double bacon cheeseburger. A different side of the gastronomical spectrum to the Nouvelle Cuisine of the 1970's & 80s' and the- impossible-to-get-a-table-at "Dorsia".

Technical realisation taken from Sean Brock's double bacon cheeseburger festured in the comments below. We call it The Overflow for obvious reasons.

  • a pan toasted sourdough wheat bun sprinkled with sesame seeds, 3oz.
  • two beef quarterpounders with minced pancetta mixed inside
  • layers of cheddar
  • thin slices of yellow onion burried underneath the melted cheese
  • butter
  • sea salt and cracked black pepper
  • pickle slices

The font used for this fake poster is a tribute to the "Copperplate Gothic" font used for Paul Allen's business card.

It was a delicious thing to eat. With a lot of ketchup/mayonnaise/mustard/pickle juice sauce on the side. Had a feeling the sauce would cover the whole thing too much and make it very slippery to eat.
